CajunBlues
Sound the same... I believe that... Feel the same... Well, maybe you are playing one of those god awful chambered customs.. In all honesty however, I find the customs more comfortable to play... But not by A LOT...

rotem
i honestly think that the custom doesnt worth the ton of money, its way overpriced!
strat-o-steve
I can believe they sound very similar.....being they both have mahogany bodies with maple tops and mahogany necks, along with the 490R/498T pickups. I have yet to find 2 Gibson's that play and feel the same though. All 3 of mine have the same (50's) neck shape, but one feels like a 2x4 with slightly rounded edges, another feels like C shape, and the other feels like a soft V.
