Is this a good deal??

It sounds pretty good to me but I'd like to see what a few experts think. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest). $620 for a brand new Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded, and the hardcase.

I think those are usually in the $850 dollar range, so yeah,getting it at $620 is pretty good. I negotiate whenever I go for amps or guitars or whatever, and I sort of have a target price range chart in my head for all different price ranges of gear.

 

For me, if I were looking at an $850 guitar, my target range to bargain down to would be around 650-700. So yeah, $620 sounds good IF you are convinced it is actually the guitar you want, and you play it and it sounds right to you.

Ask if you can play the particular one you would be buying before you hand over the cash to see if you like the feel and sound. If you like it, it sounds like an excellent buy.
