Kineman Karma
Hey guys, just wanted your opinions on which Goldtop is better...the Traditional or the Standard? now I know the Trad is weight relieved and the Standard is chambered n all of that...just tell me what you think and why Cheers!! Ok, tough choice you are making Mate! I like the Gold Top Trad because the vintage cosmetics and 57 classics do it for me. However on the hand of the Standard, I like the fact that it has the 60's neck profile, the standard in my opinion would be more suited for a gigging player for it's working mans specs. Final decision for me would be that I would go with the GOLD TOP TRADITIONAL. Even though the TRAD 50's neck profile is not my thing, I would take the trad anyday. Good Luck. Tim Plains
One isn't better than the other. Go and play both guitars, if you haven't already, and see which one you like more.
Rokkstar 2210
Well R9...I have played both..and for the love of me I can't pick a winner It's like..aahh I love that '60s neck. then ooohhh...the solid Trad sounds a wee bit better then...BUT MOM...the Standard is LIGHTER...( ) which is why I put this up here as far as pickups are concerned..the '57 classics beat the crap out of any pickup it's just heavy solidbody and sound...against light chambered with a great neck Kineman...I don't know mate..they both are pretty sweet...thanks anyways
