Kolera Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Holy ****! I don't know anything about neckrepairs, but I wouldn't touch that if it was thrown at me....
ne14t? Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Wow, it looks like someone intentionally cut that portion out!!! I am sure with some work, I wanted to say little but it wont be, that should be able to be fixed. but a new piece of wood, would have to be fitted and glued into that hole, and then most likely jointed to the neck and to the head so it doesnt come back out. If you cant do the work yourself I would say it probably wouldnt be worth it, and a the bill from a Luthier to have that fixed might be scary.
BigKahune Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 . If you've got the broken out piece a competent luthier/shop should be able to fix it. Without the broken out piece it's gonna be hard to fabricate that chunk and get the headstock on the correct angle - read time consuming and expensive. So in this case I'd look for another guitar.
Dan41 Posted May 11, 2011 Author Posted May 11, 2011 i got a reply from the seller he told me is a 1992 gibson les paul standard natural finish. if no body bet on this it will cost 500$ and i got at home old fake les paul. i can cut a piece on the neck if the neck have the same size.but if not the same size, what do you think about the price
