Can't describe it. And the really weird thing: The guy that I sold it to, is now selling it.... We both fell in love - bought it - and put it on the market within weeks... Jack6849 Posted May 12, 2011 Share Posted May 12, 2011 Although I'm a big fan of Adirondack Spruce tops, one of the best-sounding Martins I ever owned was a 14-Fret Slothead Custom Shop Special-Order "000-42" with an Engelmann Spruce top. What a great tonewood that can be. And you have an Ebony Fretboard and Bridge... A Bone Nut, (and with the pickup, a compensated TUSQ Saddle). Cool. Bet you ARE excited... What's that Custom Low Profile Neck feel like? Is it "V-shaped" or "rounded"?
