That's a shame,Josh. I don't know why some folk started objecting. The mods clearly felt it was on topic enough. Thanks for sharing and teaching me some stuff I knew nothing about.

Thank you Farns, it's an honor.

The mods have been very supportive actually, it's not the mods at all.

I am grateful and I'd love to share with Gibson members, but not if it offends.

If y'all wanted me to keep sharing my finished projects let me know. Nothing I build is for sale, it's bought before it exists.

I guess what I'm sayin' is if I don't bring added value to the content here then I should just throw in the towel.

Kind Regards,

Josh

I would also vote to keep posting ere on the forum it's definitely related and very cool to see all your options, I think your stands are great and still plan on ordering one as soon as I figure out what kind of amp I want to put it on in my art studio. I've just about decided to go with my Mesa transatlantic and a 2x cab but still keep changing my mind. Your post is one of the few still interesting post running in this forum. and your photos are always so well done too keep it up Josh you have solid fans here.

Thanks kidblast:)

My intentions are not to share any more of my finished projects on the Gibson Forum.

Anyway...thanks for the support I've received, it means a lot to me.

Y'all be good!

Kind Regards,

Josh

Frankly, this is my thread, and I am tickled to death to have you keep posting your work in it.

Killer amp stand thread has killer amp stands; ***s need not apply. :)

very cool stands.......

I LOVE the idea of the one with the rack space in it.....

I don't use any rack gear, but would like to have a good rack mount power conditioner with me to plug all my gear into but had no idea where to put the thing since I don't have a rack...........

This would kill two birds with one stand....lol.

I will definitely check out the site.

Cool, thanks...I have always thought that a rack compressor, tuner, or power conditioner would be the best fit for a combo rig. Maybe even an effects processor like an Alesis or a reverb unit. Many many options with a 1RU space.

I'm also picturing one of the power conditioners with the pop out lights........those would shine on the floor a little way out from the base of the stand due to the angle.......perfect spot for a pedal board to sit!

This is the latest off the bench. It's solid African Padauk, built to fit a 3 Monkeys Sock Monkey 1x10 Combo. Yes that is my AC30 on it, but I won't have 3 Monkeys images until the owner gets it because I'm not fortunate enough to own a 3 Monkeys Amp…yet.

Here's the build thread:

Love the variance in the wood on this one. Absolutely lovely.

Josh, I might be in touch soon to pick your brains (if that's OK?). I'm going to build a prototype amp and cab soon and I'll need some cabinetry advice.
