joshatatlasstands
I like the stripy ones but I prefer the flame ones you sent a couple a years back. Thanks again for those BTW. I'll work up some more flame maple guitar picks and send out another round then :) When I do I'll let y'all know. They were my favorite too, but as I recall they were a bit smaller than the standard pick. Here's the latest completed build: We felled this Paulownia a few yards from the Atlas wood shop back in February. Made it into a Low Rider amp stand. Super strong yet lightweight as Balsa. Made for a Tone King Metro. It was an honor to see this one come together. joshatatlasstands
Walnut and Cherry Dual Wall Mount Guitar Hanger Taking some lessons from ChanMan with the leather lashing work. Adjustable from left to right to accommodate a few guitar body styles. The design took a while to clean up, but it was well worth the effort... Bence Hi btoth76, thank you! I use neoprene and have not had any nitro finish damage in 3 years use. I ran tests on some intro swatches as well for several weeks of prolonged contact…no damage to report. I have also used suede and cork in the past, but the neoprene seems to work the best. joshatatlasstands
The backrest extensions allow Atlas Amp Stands to reach the very top of an amp cab…useful when there is no bracing on the back to support the amp on the stand. It helps with versatility as well if you have several amplifiers. This is a Paulownia Low Rider with backrest extensions and a Kick-Out guitar stand (you use your toes to open and close it, that's how it got its name). Marshall Paul
That's a beautiful stand. As for a "groupie stand", is that made of wood too? In my day it was called your boyfriends shoulders! Personaly, don't have to use them. My Marshall stacks consist of a lower 1960B cab and an upper 412A cab. That's 5 1/2 feet and over 500W of raw power going at the crowd. And there's 3 of them, centre mono, left and right stereo. Take into consideration the height of the stage and bingo, your aimed not only at their ears but over their heads to people way further back.
