Interesting guitar design #3

Back is made like those roundback Mandolins from days of yore......no bracing on the back??? Just looks great to me. Not sure about strength and I don't know how it sounds, but high five for the design effort. Check out the top bracing!!!??? Very interesting concept in an effort to lighten the bracing by hollowing out the centers of the braces. Again....don't know if it works, but I find the workmanship just beautiful...and may have some function. I don't remember where I snagged these pics (long ago) but if any of our British friends know this luthier, please provide us links!!!

4-thousand holes in Blackburn Lancashire -

They are obviously there to reduce mass, but why are the broad/slim braces so high in the first place ?

Notice the second sound hole in the upper shoulder.

Convincing work.

I noticed that too, clearly this luthier is acknowledging the different pull tensions between Bass and Treble sides
