dberch
Can someone please describe the difference between a WM-00 and a WM-45. Which would be best for a thumb-picking country blues picker? Thanks! David
TWilson
The WM-45 is a no frills J-45 and several forumites own them. My J-45 is a great picker so I assume the WM-45 would be also. I'm not familiar wth the WM-00 so someone else will have to wade in on that one. The folks that own WM-45's have spoken highly of them.
Guest
Size, comfort of holding and volume will be the main differences between the WM-45 and the WM-00. The latter guitar is, in my recollection, relatively uncommon. But they are different guitars, to be sure. Fred
dberch
Ok, I think I get it: The WM-00 is a no-frills L-00, and the WM-45 is a no-frills J-45. Pretty close? The pic I found of a WM-45 looked more like a Larrivee L- body. I thought the J-45 had a larger lower bout. Still got some good ol' Gibson bass thump though? The L body Larrivee is the essential Larrivee guitar, and is maybe as close as you could get to a J-45. Still got some good ol' Gibson bass thump though? -- Oh yeah!
