geyser Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 ... isn't it? http://cgi.ebay.it/GUITARRA-LES-PAUL-GIBSON_W0QQitemZ220285547488QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item220285547488&_trkparms=39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A10|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
GavinGuitar Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Haha, on top of that, it claims to be a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
MikeRom Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Not only that but he calls it a Les Paul standard in the description. Description also lays it on pretty thcik ...
RichCI Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Putting the obvious aside, the paint job is pretty cool.
ChanMan Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I never knew the Standard was a V.... mine must be a fake /chuckle
Mark Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I did'nt know Lynyrd Skynyd wrote songs, they shoud have paid him a royalty. I have seen that guitar before. I think its a Jimmy Hendricks V
RichCI Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 It's definitely inspired by the Hendrix V, but it's a very crude take on it.
Tim Plains Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I think it is, too. http://www.gibsoncustom.com/inspiredby/JimiHendrixV.html There's one here locally for $8,500.
Thundergod Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Ok... so what we can say by the description is 1.-The Les Paul wasnt designed for Les Paul... but for Lynyrd Skynyrd. 2.-Lynyrd Skynyrd wasnt just a band... "he" was the best songwriter of all times. 3.-The "V" shape is the foundation of Jazz. 4.-"It hasnt ceased to amaze musicians and sound enginers for its durability" ... now a guitar isnt good because of its looks and tone... it is good because it can withstand being used as a defense devise (and dont get me started on the subject of sound enginers having anything to do with guitars... most of the time they dont even know how to do their job properly). 5.-Has 3 tone 1 volume... but only 3 knobs... hm... one of them must be one of those pull push pots... I thought they were only a urban legend.. 6.-Direct delivery from factory... ok, that one is not new with fakes but c´mon... he is saying it is a real gibson les paul wtf???? 7.-At 150 Euros you can tell it is a real Les Paul ... "It's all in the exchange rate Jerry" Can someone report this asshole?
Eracer_Team Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I've tried reporting crap like this to ebay before but the darn thing goes to end and someone ends up buying it, ebay never investigated any of the ones I tried to report.
