Riffster
It does not look like you can design your SG only the artwork (graphics) that would go on an SG

Riffster
Well it is happening, I just hope they choose a good graphic and not something along the lines of those "affliction" t-shirts with a bunch of splatters. Or those stupid "obey" graphs.

Ruud2904
Too bad that SG players from outside USA and Colombia are excluded from participation. May be Gibson really thinks that the world is flat, that there exsist no SG players outside USA and Colombia....
Jeff-7
It's the District of Columbia aka our nation's capital, not the country of Colombia. I always see huge whine-fests about country limitiations on Gibson's facebook links on give away gear, you need to realize that they would be producing the guitar here, and then have to pay shipping, import and tax fees. They are simply trying to avoid extraneous costs. I'm sure there are probably give aways of items produced in your country that we are not eligible to participate in. Riffster
Not counting the Legal aspect of it. I bet you the winning designer will have to fill out a few legal forms that indicate he is being compensated or agrees to give the design rights to Gibson.
