Koa Custom Shop

Recommended Posts

WOW! Its been a while since I have really just kept looking at a guitar dreaming how awesome it would be to have this guitar. But for 5K, I dont need it that bad. Maybe it will be one of those "when I win the lotto guitars". What do you guys think? I just love the tonal properties of Koa wood.

Gorgeous guitar and beautiful wood. I just bought enough Mastergrade or 5A Koa for two acoustics, I also bought 6 smaller pieces of the same High grade Koa that I plan on making some bridges and a few Arch-top string blocks out of.

God I have a great wife, she walked by when I was looking at this picture and all she said is wow that's a pretty Koa guitar did you buy it? I said no it's $5,000 dollars and all she said was it's really pretty and you love Koa you should buy it, Order it for Fathers day.

There's no way I would buy it, I don't need another Les Paul of any kind let alone a 5k Koa one, but you gotta love the attitude.

Even though I won't buy another Les Paul and already have several Koa Guitars including a Taylor T5, A Taylor Solid Body and a Gibson Acoustic there still very pretty and fun to look at. and the Koa wood on the LP in the original post is amazing.
