GLR
I have a 1959 Gibson Melody Maker. SN 910995 made at the Kalamazoo plant. It is in fair condition. The electronics work. It's missing 3 pearl inlays (the first three on the neck) and there are a few dings. It belonged to my Dad but sat in a case under his bed for probably 20 years until he died and I inherited it. I'm wondering what it might be worth as I'm considering selling it for cash to help fund the purchase of a Gibson Les Paul Appetite (to hand down to my son someday). Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
GLR
Guitar Center will give me 700 for it. Does that sound about right?
