Woko Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 With albertjohn's post in mind what do you lot think of the way mr T used to end is show. when I see him (in the past) smashing Les Paul's SG's ect it makes me feel sick.
ChanMan Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 I hate to see a waste of a guitar. Some one somewhere would love that axe and give it a good home....
Flight959 Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 I wouldn't give him the steam off my pi*s if he was on fire... Still waiting for his "Book" to come out..... Say no more... Flight959
deepblue Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Pete Who? I hate guitar destruction of any kind, by anyone.
Flight959 Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Pete Who?I hate guitar destruction of any kind' date=' by anyone.[/quote'] Just put his name in google and add the word "arrested" at the end.
daveinspain Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 I never did understand destruction as entertainment... Hate it.
ckledzepplin Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 pete is so awsome he can do whatever he wants and it's cool
deepblue Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 The Who had a few good tunes. Pete Townshend is a pedophile, and as a parent id like to tear his nuts off.
Flight959 Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 pete is so awsome he can do whatever he wants and it's cool Even downloading child porn and getting arrested for it? Oh dear!

Thermionik Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 A guitar is a thing made by a person or two or three to be played for pleasure and for fun. Even a rubbish piece out of the oriental robo-factories can bring pleasure to someone somewhere - some people can't afford a few thousand bucks for a guitar and are glad of anything they can get. I recently sent some strings out to a music teacher in Bosnia - because he can't get them locally, let alone guitars. Smashing them up 'for entertainment', or even for art's sake, is kinda sad in my humble opinion. But some folk like to set dogs on each other, or cockerels, and all for fun and pleasure. Some folk like to beat other folk to the ground and video it to put on YouTube. I guess we just have to admit the world has craziness in it.....
Wolff Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 I admired Townsend right up until I heard the lyrics to his song 'Rough Boys'. >_< About the guitar smashing - that's just plain wrong no matter who does it. I also hate those 'guitar toss' contests they have.
