SFD25
I have had my t-bird pro for 7 months now and it's started fuzzing with a serious drop in volume. Like an electronic fuzz when played. It's definitely not the amp (ashdown five fifteen rig) as my ibanez blazer bass runs through it fine and ive ran it through the head with headphones and its still fuzzy so its not the cabinet, and I've used different cables so its not them. The tbird plays smoothly like normal for about 30 seconds then the sound goes fuzzy, and gets increasingly worse if i carry on playing until it barely makes any noise. Also I don't use any effects pedals. I have a gig in a fortnight so this needs fixed urgently. Is it a loose connection in the tbird or what? If so, you probably need to change the battery.
Rob R
Sounds like the battery may have died. I'm not sure if you do this but if you don't unplug it when your not playing it, the battery will not last very long. That's the first thing I'd try if it were me. johnston
Swap the battery for a new good quality one. Even if it's a new battery sometimes a cheapie won't have enough power to do the on board justice.

johnston
Some on boards can do funny things when the batteries go dead. My Dean gets like a chorus effect on it. I've heard of some dropping into a passive state and the owners not even realising.
