LarryUK
http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Designer/Gibson-USA/Midtown-Standard-with-Bigsby/Specs.aspx Is this 'brand new'? It's nice in black and it's got the little headstock I like.
Shnate McDuanus
I love it. Especially the minimalist controls that it has. Pretty guitar, too!
LarryUK
It's priced right too. I like the black one. Not much more money than a studio.

EVOL!
I love it too. What is the MRP?
Jeff-7
I love it too. What is the MRP? Around 2200, so say 1400 to 1600 retail? I'm guessing it's the licensed Bigsby, a few changes like black control knobs etc. and it'd be perfect in the ebony finish. Wish it had an ebony board though. Riffster
I was just looking at it on Facebook. Looks like a great guitar for the price, I bet the headstock and tuners layout help with tuning stability. Godd fret access too.
Silenced Fred
I really like the button on the top horn thing, awesome. Wish it had 2 vol/2 tone though...

rocketman
I love the way a Bigsby looks on an ES-type guitar. Plus it's got a Corian nut. This looks like another winner for Gibson.

neilpanda
Yep, brand new - product page just went up this afternoon. I like it Im just a little worried about that strap button, I feel like its somehow gonna pop out. but I really like the design. ...so hows about us forum goers get a discount on it? pippy
...Im just a little worried about that strap button, I feel like its somehow gonna pop out... I don't think there will be a problem with the strap button coming away from the horn. This is from the spec-sheet; "The Midtown Standard...starts with a solid mahogany body that is strategically chambered for optimum resonance..." So I'm guessing(!) that the area of the horn is not hollow in the manner that it is on an ES-330, for example. P.
damian
Yes......Chambered, not laminated.......It should have a nice darker tone than a reg 335.........Nice thin body........ I'd love one...or two.............three........
Searcy
Just so's we can see it without hitting the link. I'm thinking it will hit the street for about $1500. Hmmmm... may need to test drive one.
Versatile
May we know the body dimensions for comparison....? The proportions look very 335, but I think it is smaller Looks like a winner.... V
