dem00n
It's a Large Beaver from BYOC. It sounds pretty damn good but i haven't really messed around much cause i have to pack and bs. This is how it was And this is how it is... The goldleaf didnt stick so well to the metal but like the "worn" look of it. I'm in love.

Dub-T-123
Awesome dude! That's gotta be the coolest looking BYOC pedal I've seen. I like how you finished it! How was it putting it together? I'm hopefully finishing up my first build this weekend.

Dub-T-123
Yeah, not so sure which one yet. Do you know any other places that sell kits with instructions? Not so ready to read electrical diagramsa. I got my kit from Mammoth electronics which uses a PCB from guitarpcb.com. It has a diagram that's really easy to follow for the PCB (the components are individually bagged and labelled corresponding to the diagram) but the instructions for wiring are kinda vague. At least to me since it's my first build. I also just bought a "kit" from caps n' such (which is run by a super cool dude from another forum) and it was like $30 shipped minus enclosure and knobs and the PCB is really nice. I really want to build a DAM Sonic Titan clone after my IC Muff.

I think im going to build a Rangemaster from Madbean., i used to know a guy who use to own one and it sounded great for anything really.
Dub-T-123
Thanks I got some help and I think I know what to do. The Rangemaster is an excellent choice man. Try running it before your Muff if you do it! Madbean seems to clone some tasty pedals. I love the idea of a cheap DIY Fuzz Factory.

I'm suprised how cheap they are, now i feel like i got ripped off with the BYOC pedal price.
Dub-T-123
The BYOC pedals are expensive but it seems like they're the best for a first time build. Plus they sound dope as **** right?

A layout as you called it. http://www.tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=118 Do you have buy the parts? Caps, resistors, etc? you do have to source your own parts and supplies, but that's half the fun for me... :) i like these two places a lot: Small Bear Electronics: http://www.smallbearelec.com/home.html Pedal Parts Plus: http://www.pedalpartsplus.com/ Mouser and Digikey are also good resources for stuff, esp. if you buy in bulk. When i build something, i usually buy at least two of whatever part i might need, should i mess one up. ;) BTW: the rangemaster is an excellent build. here's a cool link to a PDF on Geofex, all about the original, very simple circuit: http://www.geofex.com/article_folders/rangemaster/atboost.pdf have fun!
