Only bad things are the fact that you can't adjust pup height without shimming (which raises the cover off the face of the bass), and the pole pieces make no noticeable difference in volume when raised or lowered. I wish they would have put a pickup styled like the mini humbucker so you could adjust height easier. I know lots of people like the styling of a mudbucker shaped pup, but I like the mini bucker style better. Also, I cannot get the low E string to sound as loud as the other strings. Raising the mini pup height helped, But it would have been great to be able to raise the neck pup too. I can do it on my PBasses. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
