LP Axcess

Any idea why the back of the Axcess is the way it is?

I've never played a Floyd before.

There are springs underneath that long cover to make the Floyd Rose tremolo pull up or push down.

Floyds on Lesters..It doesnt seem right.

I agree, too, that Bigsby+Les Paul = mo' beddah.

Yep, it's the same as on a Strat - that cavity has the springs for the FR trem.

I say just buy a damn strat.... Leave the les paul design alone !

It's impossible to get the beefy Les Paul tone from a Strat. I personally like the LP Axcess. I'm a huge fan of whammy bars, and a highly "maneuverable" bar on a LP is heavenly.

I've never liked Floyd Rose trems, I've always had problems keeping them in tune, but I always liked to use the trem in my Strat a little bit, but I blocked it off recently because it was being used less and less. I like it a lot better this way. A Les Paul looks funny with a Floyd Rose, they should have just thrown a Bigsby or Kahler on there since both designs are reversible if you wanted a regular bridge/tailpiece set up.
