SG Classic

AS90

Recommended Posts

i got one in heritage cherry. at first I didn't bond with it, but now I love it. IT is the best sg for the price as it has binding and the cool gibson logo on the headstock, not the cheap decal. Sounds great too, never thought I would like p-90s, but I do. best bang for the buck...

Definitely grab it! The ebony version is hard to come by these days. They are great guitars.

I was just playing mine last night. I love it!

I really want a HC one but they are both quite rare in the UK so Im grabbing one while I can.

Ebony black opaque or ebony stain that you can see the grain? The ebony stain was a regular production model until about 5 years ago and was discontinued; it's pretty sought after. The ebony opaque is rare, I know a music store in San Diego had a couple that were originally intended for Europe.

I was thinking about trading mine for a SG with buckers. But it has really grown on me ' date='I think I'd miss it too much. [img']http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii98/marantz1300/100_0442.jpg[/img]

I was wondering if you could just buy a special/standard pickguard that is cut out for HB and drop in a set, would need to know if the cutouts in the classic body are big enough for HB ?

Won't work, they are routed just slightly different.
