milod
Doc is, from all I've heard, not only a guitarist beyond exceptional ability, but also a true gentleman. m
jaxson50
Doc Watson has been playing longer then most of us have been breathing, there is a old Vanguard album that has him playing with Merle Travis, of course his work with Clarence White and Marty Stuart is some of the best picking ever put down on tracks...His son, Eddy Merle was named after Travis and Eddy Arnold and was one heck of a player. He is sorely missed...
