richardw
I've read that the ES-330L reissue was intended to be a 'player's guitar', a '330 that never was', rather than a strict re-creation of a particular 330 from the past. That seems like a very laudable design goal to me. I would like to make a suggestion: why not release a version of the 330 that has humbuckers? That would fill a gap in Gibson's current product line, I think (correct me if I'm wrong): an affordable, thinline, hollow-body, with a fixed bridge, and humbuckers. I for one would like to see that. Nothing against the current ES-330L, of course. I'd just like to see a humbucker version of it.
