Reventon11
Can Somebody please explain the tonal characteristics of the fire bird? (particulary the V 2010) compared to les pauls, sgs etc how does it sound?
Versatile
The Firebird comes in a few configurations...mainly with 'mini humbuckers' and sometimes with P90's In my experience the output is lower than a typical Les Paul or SG with H/B's The playing stance for the reverse model is slightly unusual but cool looking There are non-reverse models which handle in a more conventional manner The mini humbucker is described as part way between a H/B and a S/C I enjoy dialling in a bright clean sound from the neck P/U And an OD setting from the bridge for solos The Firebird appeals for it's original looks and unique sound And there are some excellent replacement P/U's from Seymour Duncan and others.... lulli
I'm intersted in this guitar too. Are there any differences (in magnet type and in sound features) between the new minihumbucker of the Firebird V 2010 version and the original models of the sisxties?
