hahaha i hear Rickenbackers are good oh and ernie ball music man basses are good

 

 

I've never played a Ric, but I'll bet they're nice.... I recall that Rocko played a Gibson Bass of some type back in high school.... I'll ask him what it was when I talk to him next.

What are you going after Fuzzys record of the most posts in one day?

nope just bored its summer and im a student( aint got no job) so i thought i would try to gain some of you guyses wisdom on gear and bands and the works

My friend has a Rickenbacker bass and Fender P bass. He claims the Rick is really good, but is kind of a one trick pony. Real punchy type of attack. The Fender is more versatile. I don't play bass, so I'm just going by what he says. :unsure:

i play bass and my friend has a musicman stingray but all ive ever owned is a Yamaha 5 string so im kind of in your boat i dont know what a good bass is all i have to go on is what everyone else says

About the easiest basses for guitarists to switchover from guitar to are the Jazz,Jaguar and Hofner Beatle Bass as they all have slim necks.The Jaguar in particular has a great tonal range due to the different tone circuits in it.
