Mac Morganfield
I like to have a look at some 'Dad Rawk' on occasion (Well, i am a Dad!) and there is a series on 'Vintage TV' here in the UK called 'In Conversation with.....' where various Artists are interviewed over an hour long programme and introduce influential artists video's. Anyway, in the studio there are a couple of Gibson Amplifier Heads and cabs which i cannot identify. mid-brown leather or Tolex with circular cut-outs on the front of the cabs. There is also quite large 'Gibson' logo's in the background and at the beginning of the credits, it always says 'with thanks to.....' followed by the artists name and then 'Gibson Guitars'. I'm assuming Gibson have provided all these and wonder if anyone can enlighten me as to what models the Heads and cab's (stacks) are because they really do look that bit different and in a positive way! Thanks for your help!
BobB
What you describe sounds like the Gibson Super Goldtone GA-30 RVH head and cabinet which was available from the late 1990's to early 2000's.
