Heilly
....does Epiphone have difficulty in installing their tuners straight??? I would love to hear feedback on this one. BTW, loving the forum!
RaSTuS
LOL, I have some high end Gibsons with much worse alignment problems, but I agree, it's such a simple procedure. I would expect them to drill the all the holes in one setting, the tuner post bushing holes and the screw mounting holes, using a CNC machine to get accuracy and repeatability, they would have to be in alignment then. Bookkeeper's Son
Blacking out the serial number - yep, that'll stop those evil counterfeiters.
brad1
What was your purpose in blocking out the serial numbers???
animalfarm
What was your purpose in blocking out the serial numbers??? It was so YOU couldn't see them. I CAN see them! Really. Well, sort of. Maybe not..... Back on Topic - The tuners you see were installed either on Monday or Friday. THAT's why they seem crooked. MONDAY's tuner are the result of hangovers. FRIDAY's Tuners are the result of being ready to leave work to GET a hangover. Maybe ME jsut STOOPID - I get my tuners level by the "Stick" method. I just "stick" this little device across them... And MIRACULOUSLY, Each side matches the other. Only $1.00 - $1.99 at Harbor Freight. And totally useful for setting ACTION on Guitar - I have one in every guitar case... clarkuss
What was your purpose in blocking out the serial numbers??? Some people don't like to reveal their full serial number to prevent fakers using it but also for the sake of privacy. I know a lot of people who have done this in the past. Not an abnormal practice on the internet.

Heilly
Hahahaha. You guys look waaaay too much into my black bars. It was actually me paying homage to the best AC/DC album jacket - "Dirty Deeds" Sheeesh. No really, I have been part of other forums where you are frowned upon for not redacting the S/N's.... apparently not here! I personally don't want a counterfeit guit out there with MY S/N. Call me paranoid. Certainly got your attention. I might post some stars over the next batch of S/N's, you know, like the ones you see that are just enough to cover the areola. If you guys really want the S/N's, you will have to look out for the rated "R" version of the headstock photos, coming soon to a post soon. ...but I digress. Let's stay on topic mates.
