ikke Posted October 4, 2008 Share Posted October 4, 2008 good evening, i´ve been wondering how much i could siriusly get for my guitar if i sold it, i dont feel like selling via ebay or so, cause i dont want to "loose" it. its my first guitar that i bought (high entrence i know, but there were reasons;) i also love it because of a lot of reasons! i am thinking about selling it the very first time, because i play bass for a while and will probaply some longer. there is a rickenbacker4001`73 bass hanging here next to me, of a friend of mine which i could buy8-[ well, maybe you have a look? thanx for your response! andi Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't think there's much demand for an '86 SG Custom. If you don't play it, you're probably better off just loosening the strings and putting it under your bed for 15 years, rather than sell it today. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. You said you don't want to go the eBay route, but maybe you should check eBay from time to time and see what other mid '80s SG Customs are selling for.
