So could someone tell me which hard case should I buy for an Epi Emperor Regent? I thought the Emperor 2 hard case will be fine, so I bought one of those, but when I got home the guitar didn't fit in perfectly. I have to bring the case back within 3 days and I need a proper one as soon as possible. So which one is it? I've read that the jumbo case is good for it, but I'm not sure anymore. Parabar Posted August 1, 2011 Share Posted August 1, 2011 The Emperor Regent has a 17" wide lower bout, the Emperor II (aka Joe Pass) is only 16". Any case that fits an Epiphone Broadway or Zephyr Blues Deluxe, a Gibson L-5, ES-5, Barney Kessel, Tal Farlow, or Citation, or a Gretsch Country Club will fit the Emperor Regent as well.
