Springfield
I purchased a used Dot and it has all gold hardware instead of silver. It's at my luthier for a check-up & string change so I don't have the serial # handy. I think the serial # starts with a U? if I remember. Any ideas on the year it was made

Springfield
Thanks for all the reply's folks. My guitar was made in the Unsung plant in Korea, June of 2006 based on the serial #. Much like the serial #'s assigned to Taylor guitars (year, month, day & number off the line that day). I didn't know there was a Deluxe model for the Dot. This is my first electric purchase as I have an acoustic collection - playing mostly Taylor's. I was curious as to the value of the guitar vs the price I paid. Most Dot's are priced around $400 new (without case) and I bought this one for $350 with hard shell case. It's in excellent condition so I'm pretty happy with the purchase. Since I bought it from a friend that I jamb with regulary, I had played it several times and really liked it. Thanks again for the helpfull responses. I'm learning.
