Well if it's exclusively them then yes it is odd, though I can't argue with your choice!

 

Right now I'm enjoying a lot of Indian Classical Music, Black Country Communion, Black Crowes, Mendelssohn (specifically, but really a lot of orchestral stuff), and Miles Davis. I have varying periods of intensity for such obsessions, but those are my choice right now.

It depends who you're listening to-if it was Justa Beaver or Lady Gag I'd be worried.I have often listeed to nothing but the Beatles for weeks on end.I often put a CD on and hit the repeat button and listened to the same song for hours on end.It's perfectly normal to get obsessed with one band for weeks on end.

Nothing wrong with that! GFR's a sweet band.

 

There were about three months this year where I listened to nothing but Pavement.

 

 

Then went on a huge Shellac kick.

Not at all. I really don't get to "listen" to music much these days. I bike outside in the summer and I like to hear nature. I really use my free time to brush up on my guitar playing and do some writing (although it's been a while for that). I do have one rule though. Whenever Rush or SRV is on the radio I HAVE to listen to it.
