SRV-Zeppelin
try searching for it, there was a thread about this guitar a couple weeks ago. from what I understand, it's a cheaper version of an LP Studio; ie. flat finish, no maple top, not unlike a faded SG standard. it has BB pro pickups, so I don't imagine it would sound too bad... if you can afford it though, go with a Standard or a Traditional. they're much better and you'll have a way better sound. I considered buying a VM for a while, and decided that while it is still a Gibson, I'd rather have a maple top Epi and pay to have Gibson PUs and tuners put in. Just find one to play, and if you love it, then go for it. It's just not for me personally. Best of luck in your decision, LP Fanatic.
ChanMan
They are beautiful guitars and played well. Sounded good, too. It's like stated above, though, a studio with less finishing. Find them. Play them... play them all!!
cookieman15061
Great guitar with a great price tag (thats just a bonus). I had to play six different ones to find "The One" but she feels and sounds amazing. When I got her home my son plug in and hit a chord and we just looked at each other and smiled. It was the sweetest thing. Some here look down their noses at them but I love mine. Its a real players guitar nothing fancy just kick***.
Les Paul Fanatic
I was thinking worn brown finish or maybe taking it to a luthier having them sand the finish off and do a gray or black primer and a tattered rebel flag layered over it.
