awel
'The body of Jani Lane, former lead singer of the metal rock band Warrant, was found in a Los Angeles hotel Thursday. Lane, 47, was found in a hotel in Woodland Hills, a district in the southwestern area of the San Fernando Valley, police said. There was no immediate information available on cause or circumstances of death. With his long blond hair and tight leather outfits, Lane embodied the excess of 1980s metal rock bands. He joined Warrant in 1984 and wrote such hits as Heaven, Down Boys and Cherry Pie. He had an on-and-off relationship with the band, leaving it in 1992 before returning and quitting again several times. In recent years, he appeared in VH1's Celebrity Fit Club and made news for a drunken driving arrest. He is survived by two daughters from two previous marriages. Riffster
That intro is played by Jani's brother (appearing courtesy of his Mom as the liner notes read) and yea that is one of their best songs. I like Warrant a lot, I am not a fanboy, I just think they have a bunch of cool songs.
