delek 99
Starting from the head down.... Grover Imperials E logo Truss Rod Cover Tusq Nut Full Refret with Jumbo frets Custom Sheraton Gold plaque 12" Fret Kill Switch Seymour Duncan P-Rails Roller Bridge Full Rewire with 1 push-pull volume, 1 push pull tone Switchcraft 3 position toggle Black Bell Hat knobs with gold insert Bigsby B7(replaced a licensed one i installed, there's nothing in the difference between licensed and usa other than price. if u have a licensed bigsby be happy abpout it! I also took the super glossy finish off with scotch brite pads to give it a more vintage look. The b7 is looking a bit shiny too might give it a light scotch bright pad treatment soon i dont know... This guitar sounds and plays like a million dollars. I just wanted to show it off I love looking at pics of modded sheratons. If anyone else cares to show theres off id love to take a peek Here is a link to the album of pics i took for it,check them out:) http://s1089.photobucket.com/albums/i346/delek99/
brianh
Wow, that's an unusual mod job Delek, really nice! Reminds me of a Hot Rod Lincoln. Questions: 1. Is the 12th-fret marker glued on or inlaid? 2. Did you use the supplied P-Rail surrounds with the micro-switches or wire them direct?

Did you use the supplied surround with the P-Rails or wire them direct? thanks a lot:) inlaid first then got a refret which involved sanding down the neck which took some material off the plaque thats why it looks weird! the surrounds are the original ones. i got a luthier to install the pickups i wouldnt be able for a complex job like that with the push pull wiring and what not, id end up with no hair! thought about but i usually break things i try do myself!
