ES-333

This is a two part posting so I wanted to post it in this forum category.

 

First, those of you that have a 333 and have done mods to it, what kinda changes did you make and found really added to this guitar? Also, compared to a 335, how specifically does the neck feel on the 333 both in size and playability. Anything else noteworthy that strikes you about the 333?

 

Second, yes, I am def looking for a Translucent Brown/Faded Brown es 333 if anyone is interested in selling. Thanks kindly.

I can tell you that much:

I have a blonde 333 that I bought used and figured

to be changing the pick ups.

However after a while I got to love the sound of the stock pups

and left it as it is.

The neck feels a little rounder than my 335 but tone wise she's a killer

and can blow a lot of 335s out of the water.

I only saw one of the brown ones during the time they were being sold new, and probably should have bought it. That could be a hard guitar to locate since the production numbers probably were quite low. Good luck in locating one.
