BigKahune
. Cool. I've seen a lot of leather on guitars over the years. In fact I've got leather pickguard on my Telecaster. . B)

DAS44
Not much for the leather, but otherwise she's stunning, and I'd love to give 'er a try.
The RandyMan
That looks really sharp! But wouldn't the leather kind of dampen the resonance of the body a little bit?

Dub-T-123
They have (or used to have) the original version at the GC in Hollywood. It was really sweet and the leather held up fine. It held up a lot better than the plastic binding does on Gretschs from what I've heard.. It sounded really cool. I really dig the Gretsch sound. G McBride
I like it. I have a friend that has a Chet Atkins model and wants me to buy it from him. I have not seen it but he said the binding has shrunk and cracked. I am sending him the picture of this guitar, maybe it will inspire him to get his out and play it. brundaddy
They must have used a hell of a flash; they usually seem a subtle shade minty-er to me... but you get the idea.

Versatile
I believe it is chambered.... Love the over-the-top cowboy style....shows a sense of humour These Chet Atkins and Duo Jet Gretsch's are great IMO They make an interesting alternative to the ubiquitous Les Pauls.... V PS Chuck Berry used to play something very similar.....

duane v
I don't know.... it looks like a flashy cowboy boot to me <_< ..... Not my thing at all. And the Bigsby trem doesnt help it either. But please consider the above comments come from a straight up metal head
jaxson50
Gretch made some of the coolest stuff...The Syncro-Sonic bridge and the Space Control bridge also called the roller bridge are just retro neat-o stuff... I forgot the Rocking Bar bridge...
