Les Paul Studio Lite

I'm going to look at this, this week. Has anyone had one?

They're lighter than normal. It's got swiss cheese holes and 'balsa' wood between the pickups.

It's a walnut grain top with all black hardware. Plus an ebony fretboard. Which is what draws me to it.

I own a LP Studio Lite

I don't think there are many out there as they were produced during the early 90's

I didn't notice any Tone difference personally between a Studio and The Studio Lite model.

The only issue I had with mine was wiggly machine heads which I have replaced with Grover Deluxe machine heads.

After a while the saddles starting cutting into the strings very easily so I replaced the saddles with Graphtech Graphite Saddles.

I just purchased a LP studio 60s reissue w/ p90s. I was considering a studio lite w/ humbuckers. Any opinions on the choice between the two. I must say I do like the thin neck on the 60's reissue. Thanks for any input.

Enjoy Life! Keep Jammin!

Cool

I also own a Les Paul Studio Lite

I Got it from my uncle. Unfortunately it was broken. but i repaired it myself because i didnt have the money to get it professionally done.

Put alot of work in it. the paint on the repaired parts is a little different.

But it gives it uniqueness.

And i love it.

Ill ad a pickture of the repaired guitar later
