Korean Casino P90 covers?

Hi Y'all-

I bought a Casino that was missing a bunch of parts and I'm now trying to replace them. Last thing I need is covers for the p90s. I've found some for $50, but I can get new pickups for that. Any one making covers? Or, is there a company making replacement/improved pickups for the Casino (with one shorter p90)

Thanks,

Dan

Dan, if you mean the chrome ones,I hate to say this, but no. Best/easiest you can do is go on eBay and buy a new set for $50. The other option might be to contact someone that rebuilds them, like Jason Lollar. He might have a set of chrome stock PUs (or covers) lying around from a rebuild, but I kinda doubt it. There seems to be a pretty good demand for the chrome covers, some enterprising soul might want to figure out how to get some made. Hong Kong or China has to have somebody that can. Good luck.

You know, if those guys over in China that are making knock-offs wanted to make some extra money, they'd make the chrome replacement covers for these. There's a demand. Maybe do something useful for a change.

Nice job finding those. I looked all over about a year ago and couldn't find any. I'd be interested in hearing how they fit, etc. Actually, I think that there are quite a few who would like to know. Please keep us posted.

Theere are two more that I'm aware of that make the short (height) neck dogear pickups, Jason Lollar and Pete Biltoft. I have yet to find anybody that makes a tall P90 pickup with the narrower string spacing for neck use. The reason I was looking for one was so that I didn't have to add so much shim to get it to the string distance I wanted. I ended up using a bridge pole spacing pick up ay the neck instead. The 3/32" difference in spacing (or 3/64" at each E string) worked just fine and looks a lot better than a short PU with a lot of shim.

They do.....They're embossed with " Aplle" on the top, and " Windoe " on the backside....
