Here's another one:

First person who mentions Johnny Cash from this point on will be hunted down and shot.

Why? Considering Cash's cover struck a chord with Reznor. "I pop the video in, and wow... Tears welling, silence, goose-bumps... Wow. [i felt like] I just lost my girlfriend, because that song isn't mine anymore... It really made me think about how powerful music is as a medium and art form. I wrote some words and music in my bedroom as a way of staying sane, about a bleak and desperate place I was in, totally isolated and alone. [somehow] that winds up reinterpreted by a music legend from a radically different era/genre and still retains sincerity and meaning — different, but every bit as pure."

I know Trent loved Cash's rendition, but...I don't know. It's ruined the song for me, because I live in a school that's crawling with country/pop fans, and to be honest I don't like Cash's cover because it introduces elements that I listen to Nine Inch Nails to get away from.

Accessibility is for chumps. If someone wants safe pop music, they can start their own fxcking thread.
