onewilyfool
Just played one at the San Fran Guitar Center. Amazing sound a flawless workmanship. Just a beautiful guitar. Anyone out there have one? This one is a piece of art.
guitarstrummer
Ah, the guitar of my dreams. I would love to have a custom one with Koa B/S. What did you think about the thinner neck? That's the only thing that bothers me about the DIF.
onewilyfool
I've been playing a lot of electric lately, so I didn't really even notice. But sound wise and Visually....this one is very special....
dodge
I strummed a G chord on a Doves in Flight and my reaction was wow this guitar is something special. As much as a loved the sound and aesthetics of the guitar the narrow neck would prevent me from buying one, unless I custom ordered one with a wider neck. TheLiveSoundGuy
While I DON'T KNOW THIS GUY, I have spoke with him on the phone. He's local here in the DFW area, and said he was looking to get about $3,600.00 for it. That's a steal on this thing! I wanted to get in on it, but am about a grand short. Just an FYI. Gilliangirl
I could definitely bond with a thinner neck. If I ever have a custom made, I'll have it made with a thinner neck. Looks like that eBay one didn't sell as it didn't hit the reserve. I'd love to have a DIF. There was a gorgeous rare one on eBay awhile back, very blingy, but it did not sell as the guy had it priced too high.
TheLiveSoundGuy
That's the second time he's listed it too. It's a hard market everywhere right now. Folks havin' to think hard about making large purchases right now.
onewilyfool
I don't follow Ebay much, but the local Craig's listings for guitars show a REALLY soft market. Guitars are sitting longer, prices are lower, and people are more in a hurry to sell.....a combo for declining prices......
