Todd
I recently purchased a 2001 ZW #332 .The necks are suposed to be raw but mine appears to have a verry light clear coat ? Its very hard to tell if its a coating of some kind or just shiny from oil ? Was there infact some sort of very light coating put over the so called raw neck ? Is this consistent with other ZW's Thanks
Tragic
I recently purchased a 2001 ZW #332 .The necks are suposed to be raw but mine appears to have a verry light clear coat ? Its very hard to tell if its a coating of some kind or just shiny from oil ? Was there infact some sort of very light coating put over the so called raw neck ? Is this consistent with other ZW's Thanks There is some finish on those necks. Use a Scotchbrite pad (red) and scuff it down. Scuff until the shiney turns dull and move on. If you stick in one place you will burn thru down to the wood. Scuff in a small circular pattern or long straight pattern. To give it a Pro look, tape up the stinger to keep the shine. If you do not any finish on the neck and do not care about warranty issues, use acetone to strip the finish away. Stay away from the binding or it will melt. Cool?
