EuroAussie
Im not super popular with the folks here in Oz as I brought with me a lovelly little cold / virus from Prague, and now my folks, auntie and Mrs EA are all infected and its one big sneezing competition round here. Anyway, gave me some time to edit our last gig footage (evening before departure) and thought Id post one more clip that I thought showcased the recently acquired J-150 nicely. This is a bit of a different version of Mr Jones, the Counting Crows standard, thought the J-150 shined really well in this track and my vocalist did a great job. Anyway, just a little weekend kick back and enjoy number ... cheers.

MissouriPicker
the guitar sounds real good. Kind of makes me think of Lindsey Buckingham's guitar and the stature it has in "Landslide." cool........ I watched some of your videos on the YouTube channel. I enjoyed them. You guys are pretty darn decent.. I like that bar too. Looks like a cool place to play.
EuroAussie
BK, Picker, glad you enjoyed it and thanks for your feedback ! I must say there is something special when the acoustic guitar and voice connect, a real feeling of harmony that really draws me to this format. Different to when two guitars connect, which when done well can be mesmerising, but pure voice and guitar is something else.
stein
As far as I am concerned, That is the new best version of that song. I have to say, sometimes when you put the presentation to a tune the way you do, it gives me shivers.
EuroAussie
Wow, Stein, thanks a lot for the massive compelement, I got a shiver just from reading it ! Must say that generally Im pretty hard on myself and record most shows to then review afterwards the positives and areas to work on, but I'll admit this is one where it all came together really well and gave it a green tick ! Thanks again ! As far as I am concerned, That is the new best version of that song. I have to say, sometimes when you put the presentation to a tune the way you do, it gives me shivers. AnneS
As far as I am concerned, That is the new best version of that song. I have to say, sometimes when you put the presentation to a tune the way you do, it gives me shivers. Me, too...this was great. You guys found the center of the song and then delivered it, straight up. Keep 'em coming!! (As much fun as it is to talk about our Gibsons, hearing them in action is even better. )

EuroAussie
Anne, PM, thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it ! Its amazing how little one can do to change a bit the arrangement and play the same chords arpegiated to change to mood of the song. This is one track we alwasy enjoy doing, and I think my vocalist really shines here. Thanks again for listenting and your comments !
