Spanking new V traditional pro

As of 1:14pm today-Sept 27 2011, im the proud owner of a '11 gib trad pro V. Sounds and plays awesome. Coil splitting on the zebra classic 57 neck & Burstbucker 3. Slim taper neck, mahagony body, no pickguard. My 1995 V is heavier in sound and weight. I may change these pickups in this new V. Im a big fan of the 500t-496r combo, but might leave the burstbucker 3 in it. The Classic 57 is definitely getting replaced.

The easiest way to do it would be to get like a photobucket (or the equivalent) account, then upload your pics to that. Then, copy the image code from there, and paste it into the box when you post on a thread. I'm not sure if you'll have trouble doing it through your phone. -Not sure if it will work with mobile browsers. If it doesn't work, you may need to try it from a computer.

I was at a local GC yesterday, I didn't see any and I asked it about. Naturally the guy says 'ah no Gibson Vs but we have Ibanez and Dean'. I responded that it was to be a GC exclusive model did he know if they were going to get any in? 'Well if you want to try anything else out let me know.' Really?

If you can find the online listing, write down the SKU and go back to the store when the Manager of the guitar area is there. Then show him that GC page on their browser (which they use to look up prices for matching) by searching for the SKU. Ask your question again. Get a real answer. (I have been encouraged to use this route by GC store managers and area managers when given answers like you got.)

And be sure to let him know which staff's training needs an update. ;-)

It isn't available online, thus no SKU, though a good idea. I honestly don't care that much about it. You would think they would at least have an idea of what I was talking about. Most employees in there don't know their left from their right hand in that store.
