They are pretty much the same pickup except one is for the neck and one is for the bridge.

I like the burstbucker pro's but I also like the Tim Shaw pickups and Jason Lollar Imperial Low wound Pickups.

I like the '57 Classics.

 

I could be wrong (you don't say!) but it seemed to me that they are less powerful but more controllable and versatile tone-wise than the BB's.

I voted for BurstBuckers 1 & 2 because they are my favorite pickup out of that list.

...but what is it with people's obsession for "the best?" There is no "the best."

If there were, we'd all have it and there would be no other choices.

My R9 is by far "the best" guitar I've ever played...but the truth is, I hardly play it.

My other LPs get played much, much more. Why? I don't know.

Overall, I like 57s best. But in a Les Paul... BB Pro's. I love the fact that they can really bite even with low distortion but you can turn the rhythm PU down to clean up the tone.

 

Gibson all the way!
