One of the reasons I decided to participate here is to get as much info as possible about Gibsons and guitars/amps/effects in general. You've seen my posts - I'm not a complete idiot, but I honestly didn't know what the R models are. I guess that's why you guys ignored me the first 4-5 times I asked about this? I have a theory that the world would be a better place if more of us were afraid of looking dumb. I'd rather go around the block than cross three lanes of traffic and look like I don't know where I am going. Just by hanging around here and posting occasionally I have learned butt-loads of stuff. Can you believe when I was studding in the states (some 12 years ago) some idiot at a music store asked me if I was Mexican, and when I told him I wasnt he told me "so, why do you speak mexican?"
