mrcurtis73
I have a Gibson Les Paul Traditional (Plus, I think) with a '57 Classic pickup in the neck position. I also have a double cutaway LP Standard with, I believe, Burstbucker pickups. If I put a '57 Classic in the neck position of my double cutaway LP, would it then have the same tone as my Trad? Your Trad is "weight relieved"; It has @11 small holes in it's body....Depending on your DC LP, it may be solid or chambered... So, no matter what, it will sound different....However, IMHO, and from experience, '57s put into almost any guitar improves it's tone by a 1000%.........Putting in a 57 in your DC LP will give you a VERY similar tone, so, basically, YES........
