Gilliangirl
Michael, I wish that was my guitar but it's not. That guitar was at NAMM this past year, in the Gibson section, and I just stole the picture for my avatar. Isn't it beautiful??!! We're not sure what exactly it is but suspect it's a SJ300. Not sure where it went after NAMM but I'd sure like to know if someone purchased it.
Gilliangirl
Subu, you still haven't told me where you're getting these from? That other one..... is that Levon Helm between her and Dave. Sure looks like him. GREAT pictures!

Michael
Aww Gilliangirl I really thought that was yours. Oh well, it sure is a good looking guitar. I will post a pic of mine once I figure out how to do it, lol! I just discovered computers a few months ago and I took a course and look at me now. See, you can teach old dogs new tricks! guitarstrummer
The photos in Gilliangirl's avatar are of two guitars. The headstock photo is from a Montana Gold. The pickguard photo is a J-200 Double Vine. It's just a J-200, with an Abalone vine that is bordered with MOP. Thus the double vine.

You'll need to register with an image hosting site like Photobucket (that's who I use). Then, you can upload your pictures from your computer to Photobucket, then copy the 'image code' into your post on the forum. Let us know if you have any problems. I could always upload them for you. Gilliangirl
How many pictures you want? I've got well over a hundred I'm sure LOL This is probably one of the first. This is a really old picture taken the night I brought the guitar home. Notice the price sticker still on the pickguard......(yes, I know there's a tap coming out of my head) And this here is a Northern Jumbo, in case you were wondering.... Gilliangirl
I'm not sure how we ended up on the kitchen floor? I know we were drinking wine in celebration of the new guitar! I'll have to try the oven mitts trick..... I need all the help I can get.
Murph
Acoustics are good in the kitchen. ................ Hmmm............... It sounds different when you say it, as opposed to when you read it........ Nevermind. Murph.
ksdaddy
Yep, the acoustics ARE good in the kitchen. I used to strum my old banjo in the kitchen for a girl named Dinah but she kept drowing me out with her trumpet. So then I'd just go back to work. On the railroad. All the live-long day. Gilliangirl
Ksdaddy, that's hilarious! We always play guitar in the kitchen, but usually sitting on chairs, not the floor. Worries me a bit because I'm putting in a music room/rumpus room downstairs but I really wonder if I'll use it or will everything end up back upstairs in the kitchen?
