I has two ES-320 pass through my stable at different times. I had a natural one thet got swapped for a cherry sunburst, which "disappeared" and got replaced with a 335, which got sold and now I have a 345. All just to say that I've pretty much run the gammut on the ES-3xx series, and I absolutely loved the 320 and wish I still had one.

If you can get it at the right price, grab it. The ES-320 was a very unique guitar with the stock "Melody Maker" pickups and electronics. Many of them have been changed over to humbuckers to try to get more of the 335 sound, or had other mods done to them. To me the beauty of them were the original pickups. I would roll the tone pot to zero and wail, it got a fantastic sound for jazz fusion type music. Other than the two I had, I've only ever seen one other in the flesh, and maybe one or two on e-bay. They really were the black sheep of the ES family, but were great guitars.

If you do not buy it I would be interested. Keep us posted.

Here's a partial pic of the sunburst one circa 1980.

HI guys, newbie here who has an ebay 320td for a few months now loving it also. My 1st ES335 type although I've always loved them and have had 100+ guitars in 30 years. Mine's natural in decent shape and all original including the missing original bridge cover.

Any chance in hell to ever find one somewhere or will there be world peace 1st? I heard it was the same as on a melody maker or some such. Will add a pic when I take some shots of it. Yak sson and nice to have found the site.

I think you must go for an online help Touch-Up Accessories . I have also experienced the same problem and then one of my friends suggested me this website. It really helped me to a great extend in getting my car back in shape n even better than original as it has a variety of shades available for all kinds of cars. I am sure even u would love the shades here.

Had mine set up nicely-flattened out the bridge and did a nice job on the frets and it is a sweet player.

I think 1400-1500 in decent shape is not unrealistic. Compare it to a 300(with and inferior mahog neck) for pricing. I love the woody PU's and the funky Italianate switches.
