Yes. At that price you will not find a better jumbo.

I bought one for my buddy last year to thank him for having my family to his family house on the beach in Connecticut.

No guitar in the house so I went to the local GC and played one.

The fit and finish were great.

The tone was booming.

Nice sustain.

This one was setup perfect.

There was a ripple in the pick guard and they discounted it 10%.

Great guitar for $179.

Had been thinking about picking one up because I do not have a maple back and sides acoustic.

Just acquired an EL-00 or I would jump on this.

My buddy loves this guitar.

He plays it as much if not more than as his all natural wood Parkwood.

You will not be disappointed with this guitar.

At this price, get a hardshell case.

It is worth protecting.

Well, I bit. It came in today. I've been wanting a maple Jumbo for a while. Gibsons are just out of my reach $$$ wise. I thought about the GAD series maple Jumbos. I like the tone on this guitar, and it's loud. The size is really not at all uncomfortable, and I'm not a big guy. Now that I know I can play a Jumbo, I can start saving for the real deal. This puppy will keep me satisfied...for a while. ;)

The EJ200 has a very nice tone for strumming, better than most acoustics in it's given price point. Do yourself a favor and put a bone saddle in there and you'll double your sound quality.

This could be the "Bang for the buck" deal of the century.Sometimes I wonder what the sleepers of today will be 20 years from now. This guitar may be it. At this price + a $10 off coupon, I may get a second one.

So, I've had my EJ-200 Artist for a week now...

I really don't know how any company can manufacture a guitar (overseas or not) this good and sell it for so little. I feel like I have a solid frame of reference on this because I have owned about 15 different acoustics over the years and this is the best one I've had. Understand, I am not saying it's the best one "for the money", I'm saying it's the best one - period. While not going into the upper echelon of any particular maker's line, I have owned much pricier guitars like a Martin DM, Taylor 110 and a host of others like Yamaha, Seagull, etc. Even had a different Epiphone, an AJ-200S, which was decidedly unimpressive in build quality and tone. In fact, that previous Epiphone experience had me a little hesitant to get this, but I figured for $149, there wasn't a whole lot to lose!

My EJ-200 Artist's natural finish is beautiful. I honestly see no flaws in it, whatsoever. The inside is clean, too, with no dollops of glue showing. I made two adjustments. I put medium strings on it, just because I don't think a guitar this size responds well with lights, and I put a quarter turn of relief into the neck as it was dead straight from the factory and I'm a bit of a hard strummer. The action is right on factory specs at 7/64 and 5/64, and the tone is just so full bodied - it's amazing. Part of why I've had so many guitars, is that continual search for "the one". I might be done now. I have never been more satisfied with a purchase!

Amen Brother,

I have a few really good Masterbilts, and I love this guitar as much, maybe a tad more.
