I watched on Cable last night the making of the film clip pretender. I thought it awesome that midway through he made the comment that he wouldnt stand on stage and let a hose wet a great guitar. So he got them to get him an EPI copy of the firebird.

 

then when it came time to smash it at the end he nearly cried. Still didnt want to smash it.

 

I cant stand the bands that smash their instruments. Im always thinking dude kid in the 3rd row would die for that guitar.
