Hi all...new member here with a question that I am sure must have been discussed here before. I have a Calton case that I use for extra protection (travel, bars in bad neighborhoods, etc.) for my acoustic Martin, but wondering what you all use for the LP? Anything flight/gig worthy? (Not even sure Calton does a Les paul model, do they?)

thanks...been enjoying reading these pages--hopefully I may be able to contribute now and then!

I use an old Gibson metal latch Protector case for general knockin' around. If I were flying with it and it was going as luggage (i.e. bellow deck), I'd use an ATA flight case, but that's just me.

I've been using Calzone road cases for years, the best road case in the business. In fact I have a Calzone road case for a Les Paul for sale-$200.

Hey L5, that is a pretty sweet case. I travel quite a bit, so a flight case for my LP would be great. As for now, if I travel by commercial air, I just bring my Traveller Guitar, fits very nicely in my backpack.
